Mandarino Beach Club brings Italian flair to Playa del Carmen’s beach scene. Located in the Zazil-Ha neighborhood on the northern coast, the club features a freeform swimming pool with a swim-up bar, a hot jacuzzi, beach beds, and a beach tennis court — alongside a restaurant helmed by a proper Italian chef serving gourmet Mediterranean cuisine.
The atmosphere is stylish but not overly wild, sitting comfortably between the party clubs and the tranquil wellness spots. Evening events include salsa and bachata dancing, adding a social element after sunset. The club also hosts weddings and private events. Kids reportedly eat free, making it one of the more family-accommodating beach clubs.
Day passes range from 300–600 MXN per person (~$17–33 USD) depending on the season, though some visitors report being able to walk in from the beach without a cover. The club is open from 8 AM to midnight. It is located further north from the main tourist strip, so expect a quieter setting.
