Nightlife Safety Tips

- Watch your drinks. Drink spiking is rare but happens. Keep your drink in your hand and don't accept drinks from strangers.
- Stick to well-lit streets. After midnight, use main streets (5th Ave, 10th Ave, 12th Street) rather than dark side streets.
- Use inDrive to get home. Much safer and cheaper than walking long distances at 3 AM or negotiating with taxi drivers.
- Know the 5th Avenue hustle. As one expat warned: "They'll target men coming home late at night from the clubs walking down 10th, especially." Stay aware of your surroundings and walk with purpose.

Best Nights of the Week
- Monday-Wednesday: Quieter nights. Good for expat bars, live music at Zenzi, chill rooftop drinks.
